Show Journal 2005-07-29
To be honest it was just kind of a so-so show tonight. I couldn’t put my finger on the cause but it was sort of a low key, low energy evening for everyone. Maybe it was the fact that there was a big show the night before, or maybe it was just because it was a hot summer day, but it was not the typical Longview craziness that we have grown accustomed to. To add to mix at least a dozen people who came out to see us ended up missing our set. Since we just played there a few weeks prior we decided to bust out some rarities (‘Everybody’ and ‘Beachhead’) which was definitely the highlight for me. Despite the weak sounding PA, everyone had an ok time, just not the kind of energy you expect to see with fast and loud bands. Thanks to the Board Room, the other bands and sorry to the folks who drove and paid only to miss us perform.
