Album Review

800 Octane has recently released their third full length album, The Return. To me it sounds like someone threw the Exploited, Misfits, some Dicators/Ramones sounding stuf, and a little bit of that newer poppier punk rock in a big blender. Seen as that’s a lot to say you might as well call them Super Rock as everyone else does. This is a new energy fill disc with harmonies and melodies. Packed up with a super unique variety of songs. “Next Exit” and “New Song 2” are on more of the melodic love song type thing, but then there is really aggressive, hardcore songs such as “Day of the Dead” and “Five Across the Eyes.” After a while I find it almost impossible not sing along to. I definetly suggest going and considering this album. 800 Octane has recently released their third full length album, The Return.
