17 days, 8400 miles and only 6 showers … we have finally arrived home from tour. Look for pictures, flyers and show reviews later in the week. Thanks to everyone who helped make this tour our best one to date!

Well this is it … our last update before our yet un-named tour. Things are looking pretty good right now except for the 4 day gap in California. Oh well, that's what Las Vegas is for. Thanks to everyone who helped us out with the booking of these shows and even more thanks to the people who have asked us to come play in their town and are willing to support a band like ours! Likewise, no thanks in advance to the people that will inevitably try to screw us over while we are out on the road. Oh yeah, it's official, our van is now 9' 6" tall. Cross your fingers and pray for us that it returns at the same height. We are taking bets to see who smacks the roof on a low overhang. My money is riding on Justin. See you on the road!!!
Shout out to everyone in Eugene who made the New Found Glory show a blast for us! Rumor has it our already enormous Ford Econoline van is gaining an extra 3 feet in height and will now be referred to as "the great white whale." Will the Kelvis really be our roadie for tour this year? Web page updates include the posting of all of our lyrics plus a complete show history with flyers that date back to 1994!
(Show Review) - 800 Octane….were amazing. This being there first stadium show they seemed to show no nerves. I had never seen them before but look forward to seeing them again several more times. They say they have been playing for 8 years and it shows they were very refined and tight. I would call indie punk perfection. If you like good fast tight punk rock go check them out they rocked big time. 2 thumbs up. (Rock For Reason)
My how things can change in a few days. Two days ago we were ready to give up on the tour now and now we only have 2 days off! Mad props to Dave for clocking serious hours on the phone. Currently the only gaps we have are Friday 8/31 anywhere in California, Arizona or New Mexico and Monday 9/3 anywhere between Denver and Chicago. Please e-mail us if you can help.
Damn, our tour dates are getting dropped faster than Jim's pants at a NAMBLA meeting. Can anyone out there hook us up? Basement? Garage? Living Room? Anything? Don't be afraid to e-mail us if you think you can help. Everyone claims to respect DIY booking but sometimes it really sucks.
We've added tons of new pictures to the 2001 Pictures page. Go look at them.
(Show Review) - This was the best I've seen Octane play. It's a wonder why they aren't on one of the big punk labels. They're just as good, if not better than most of those bands. My favorite songs have to be "Day Of The Dead" and their Misfits cover, "Astro Zombies." What can I say? I'm a sucker for a great Misfits cover. I'm really looking forward to playing with them again.
